Sculptural jewelry and precious objects by Simone Russell

Here you will find my work that is inspired by the coral reefs of the pacific. Each item listed is firm to the touch and in the case of jewelry, comfortable to wear.

When I was younger I was lucky enough to live for a short time on the small Fijian island of Taveuni... my work here pays homage to the beautiful corals and fish I used to be able to see by just snorkelling out from the beach. The people there used to bring me huge cowrie shells as gifts, and I will always remember my time there with love, thankfulness and wonder.

The colors, stripes and patterns in these pieces are created by premium quality silver and color coated copper, sterling silver and pure silver wires woven painstakingly together... all of my work is woven by hand.
